Jack Stein, the middle son of Rick and Jill Stein started as a kitchen porter in the family’s flagship Seafood Restaurant in Padstow in his school holidays. He is now the executive chef across their restaurants in Cornwall and beyond.
Jack likes to bring the world cuisine he has sampled on his travels to his family‘s restaurants using the knowledge he has gained to adapt local ingredients into dishes that reflect the culture of the places he has been. Simon moved to Cornwall in 2014 and after working as head chef at the Carbis Bay Hotel, took over the head chef position at Rick Stein, Porthleven. He grew up just outside of Manchester but now lives in Carbis Bay with his partner and children. He spent summers learning how to cook in Cornwall before moving to France where he worked as head chef at L’Atelier Gourmand.
