DO I NEED A TICKET?
Do I need a ticket?
Entry to the main event is free and no ticket is required. Tickets are however required for the After Dark Parties on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. New to this year is the camping field which if you will need to purchase a ticket to be able to gain entry to pitch up you own tent, park you campervan, Motorhome /Winnebago we are also offer glamping structure in the form of Bell Tent and Shire Huts.

Travel & Parking
Rule number one: take it easy! More than 30,000 people visit Porthleven for the Festival. This can cause a lot of congestion on our small roads. The information below will help you find the best route for you.

Catch the bus
The regular bus service into Porthleven will take you to a temporary bus stop opposite the playing field – closer than our Festival Car Parks. Buses depart hourly.
Make a day of it and start with a relaxing and beautiful 40-minute stroll from the Helston Car Park, opposite the boating lake, and through the Penrose Estate. Catch the bus back.
The festival operates two car park sites within Porthleven Please take the B3304 from the A394 Penzance Road. This is the quickest route to the Football Club Car Park, which has 750 spaces available and Methleigh Farm Car Parks. Day Parking is £5 and a FREE shuttle bus operates from the Methleigh Farm site. *Porthleven Food Festival is a free event during the day run by a community committee. Revenue from these Car Parks actively support charitable causes within the village and is essential for Traffic Management.
Police kindly request that you park in the designated car parks and don’t leave your car sprawled on the main roads.
For those in the know: try Shrubberies Hill Car Park and walk in past the Atlantic Inn and the Clock Tower.
Helston Park and Ride
The festival also operates a shuttle bus service from Helston you can leave your car for free in the car park opposite Coronation Boating Lake in Helston and hop in the shuttle bus service for £2 each way. Buy your ticket when you board. Running every 20/30 mins from 9.30am. Last bus from Porthleven at 5.30pm. You’ll be dropped at the Football Club in Porthleven, just a two-minute walk from all the action around the harbour.
PARKING FOR DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS
Limited spaces, reserved for your use only, in the heart of the Festival. Ask a steward in a yellow jacket if you need to use these spaces.
FESTIVAL INFO & LOST PROPERTY
Here you can ask questions from a friendly steward, and find lost property. You’ll find the stall close to the Harbour Head.
An ambulance with a team of trained paramedics will be located in the Ship Yard. Ask a steward for directions.
