Around Porthleven

There are some amazing independent restaurants, galleries, pubs and shops around Porthleven – and it’s been a tough fore years in the retail and hospitality sectors. So please don’t forget to have a mooch around the harbour, along Fore Street and beyond when you come to visit.

This year many of our shops will once again be taking part in our Festival Window competition, embracing our 2022 theme of Mental health and Blue Spaces by turning their windows blue.

Many of the businesses are also putting on extra special menus, events, exhibitions, tours and workshops for the Festival, including free daily SUP lessons with Vertical Blue Cornwall-SUP, food, drink and craft demos in The Shipyard Market, latte art and more at the Origin Coffee Roasters and tours of the brand new Shoals Brewery with the head brewer.

There’ll be a secret cream tea garden Twisted Currant and lots going on The Ship Inn and The Atlantic Inn, as well as a special menu at The Harbourside Refuge.
