Head chef Bryok Williams has been with the Square since it opened and was appointed head chef in 2013. Bryok is Cornish born and bred, although his experience is from further afield – Bryok worked at a busy pub in Fulham, and in restaurants around the south east before returning to Cornwall in 2009. His contribution to The Square is evident in consistently positive reviews on Trip Advisor.

Both Stew Eddy (owner) and Bryok have a great love of food and have great fun creating amazing dishes using the best of the seasonal, local ingredients Cornwall has to offer. Porthleven has an abundance of fresh seafood landed by local fishermen several times a week, and the menu reflects its seasonality.
