We also operate a park and ride service from Penrose National Trust Carpark Porthleven, Helston TR13 0RB
Parking here is free and the bus service costs £2 each way.

Taxi / Drop-Off: There will be a Taxi only drop-off/pick-up zone. Please book your taxi well in advance as there are local shortages.

Cash on site
We strive to offer cashless facilities on our bars. However, it is strongly advised that you bring cash to the event. Some carparks and food traders will not be able to accept cashless payments, and technical difficulties do occur. There is only one cash point in Porthleven and it runs out of cash quickly.

Licensed Zones
This year Porthleven Food Festival will be implementing alcohol checkpoints in and out of our licensed zones after 6pm. This means that you will be unable to enter or leave entertainment areas carrying alcohol regardless of where you purchased it. This is a licensing requirement, thank you for understanding and for cooperating with our stewards.

Food & Drink
You are welcome to bring your own food and drink to the event, but we encourage you instead to grab something from one of our hundred-odd independent traders, and support the free festival by grabbing a drink from the bar.

Under regular licensing restrictions, alcohol cannot be brought into licensed areas.

We have a wide selection of fully licensed bars, cocktails, independent food vendors, festival stalls, craft markets, produce markets, a kids zone and many other attractions.
