Family Field

We’re a family festival with lots going on to keep the young and the young at heart happy.

Family Field

Learn circus skills and watch a trapeze, get crafting and leap around on the bouncy castle – enjoy three days of kid-friendly entertainment on  in our Family Field.

The area will be jam-packed with workshops to join in with, shows to watch and fun to be had.

Drop in and get busy with all the arts and craft materials or cook up a storm at our children’s cookery sessions. Stay for ten minutes or all day we really don’t mind. You can take away your creations and all the workshops are free of charge.

Friday 17 April 2020

The Moors Field

Airfish Circus will be in residence with shows and circus skills workshops to surprise, and delight you (and your kids), as much as the tempting munchables on offer all around

And Sticky Fingers will be on hand to craft and create.

There’s bouncy castles, face painting, crafting and fun and games a plenty as well as lots of scrumptious food.

And adults will love the Moors Market, featuring the very best local food suppliers, as well as a bigger and better Literary Tent will also be on hand from Friday to Sunday.

Don’t miss our big firework display on Saturday night around 8:45pm and keep a weather eye out for a mermaid swimming into the harbour.
