Lime Kiln Stage, 1pm, Saturday, 22nd April

The soulful sounds of Suzie Mac will set the vibe on the Lime Kiln Stage at 1pm on Saturday.

Her soul influence comes from her interest in gospel and country music and singing in the church choir where her father was a vicar. Alex also sang regularly in the Cathedral services when she was at Gloucester Cathedral school, Kings.

She has sung at festivals such as Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Port Eliot and Looe Music festival.
Since her arrival on the music scene she has been nicknamed ‘Aretha’ Suzie due to her powerful but sweet vocals. It’s no surprise due to influences such as Aretha Franklin, Dusty Springfield, Paolo Nutini, Amy Winehouse, Nina Simone to name a few, that her power house vocals have developed into something quite unique.

Suzie is currently in the studio in the depths of Cornwall.. working hard on her first ever album.
